Stephanie, this looks as though you worked it "wet on wet", is that correct? I've not used watercolours, but I have worked with acrylic washes, and am curious.

I bought your book and saw this in it...very lovely, as usual. It's usually quite difficult to achieve what appears to be real light in watercolor, but it you've done it perfectly here. I've actually seen light coming through a window at dawn that looked just like this. Beautiful, as always!
