I absolutely love the brightness of this - truly magical. I am getting better at capturing light, but this is masterful and stunningly beautiful. The detail is incredible - I love the birds.

Your work is always so beautiful! Thank you for sharing the technique, it's very interesting. I work in layers of watercolour and pencil, I do huge amounts of pencil shading with every layer of paint. My paintings are usually about 30 layers by the time I finish!
