Sezaru, one of the four Winds.
Much less freedom in this one as it is an established character in the game, so I had to draw him as he is supposed to look with his set costume as well. But it was still rather fun. I initially had an hourglass between his hands, but the art director said to put something watery and ripply for a more eastern view of passage of time.
Yeah, he's got a -really- long braid that he always wears wrapped aroud his shoulders and then hanging down to one side. I guess you'd have to with hair that long to keep from stepping on it!
No masking fluid. I usually keep my use of it to a minimum, and haven't used it for a long time. Funny thing was that I was GOING to use it on this to mask off the leaves. I didn't want blue to get in and muddy the yellow that I would paint in last. But because I hadn't used my masking fluid in so long, I couldn't get the lid off!!!!! I twisted it until my hands hurt and finally gave up and made do without it.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
