Okay, so here's the second stage of the sketch, where it's been refined and all the details worked out. This is what's on my illustration board now, ready to be painted.
The detail is nicely concentrated in one area, and I can't wait to see the mountains
I was just wondering - how big does the paper have to be for you to get all the details in? A4?
Actually, the detail is all concentrated on the right side because this is a wraparound book cover. So the back (left side) half of it has to be fairly undetailed for the publisher to put text over. Anyway, this is 20x30 inches.
