I was reminded of the city of Nara in Japan as I painted this. Deer are sacred there, and so they run about in the streets and parks. When someone offers them food, they have been trained by habit and hundreds of tourists to bow back to the giver of the food!
Once again, your work simply amazes me. This honestly looks like an illustration for a fantasy or children's book, it's so clean and professional. And I love the whimsical feel to this. Ah, your work inspires me to try harder! I hope to be on your level someday. Keep up the great work! You are one of my favorite artists, and I can't wait to see more from you.
beautiful...
I love the one wing'd dear. [yes, dear.] I have a thing for horns and long faces.. purdey beings. ^^ And this dude combines such qualities with an elegant set of wings, them being unique in looks twell.
The deer look so rolly polly and content. It has a nifty atmosphere.
that is one heck of a cool city!! Im going there. I love the idea of finding humanish like qualities in the natural world, however 'artificial'.
^__^ tails!
.. it seems to me almost as though this is taking the idea of the bowing deer, and implying it to an actual performer, yet the roles reveresed. Yet the image insipred the thought of the japanese town.
each image creative and well presented. but you know that.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
