Illustration for an upcoming Realms of Fantasy Magazine story entitled "Impractical Cats"
I sat down at my desk ready to start brainstorming for this piece. I had pulled out my sketchpad and was staring at the blank page, when from the corner of my eye I saw slender shapes dart out from behind the wall. My friendly neighborhood strays decided to make a timely appearance and spent the next few minutes stalking the steps in front of my window, climbing up the wall and then leaping back down, and in general being the perfect models for this piece.
