One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, esentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather:

"Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

Such beautiful work, and the story is wonderful. :D
Such a beautiful painting. The contrast of red and blue is lovely, and the grandfater and grandson edged in the corner make a lovely starting point.

I like chicken on the cob and corn Mcnuggets! - Alicia, my oh-so-random friend.
I love the story behind it and the picture you used to explain it. :]

I feel as if I'm trapped behind a two-way mirror and everyone is looking in on me.
Only I can't see them.
Beautiful work, Stephanie.
That's why each day starts off with the Prayer of Saint Francis, "Lord, make me an instrument of your peace."

Wow, I love the soft colors nd yet atthe same time they're really vibrant. If that makes any sense. Hahaha. This is really beautiful, the lines are just so dreamlike and ethereal. Gorgeous.
Nice depiction of the epic battle between opposites. It's one of the better ones I have seen. I really love the message "it depends on which one you fee". Did you come up with that?
