Artist's Comments

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, esentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather:

"Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

ah, I'm glad that you made such a nice illustration for this fable- this short tale is so full of truth, it's one of my most favorite story gems that I've ever encountered.

Thank you for sharing.

Perhaps you won't read this, but anyway I want to thank you.

Yesterday I had a terrible day and I got some informations about a couple of peoples that I thought were my friends and I cherised in my heath... bad news about their behaivior towards me.... I wanted so bad to get even, especially in this guy, in the gal I didn't really feel like that.

The point it's, that today, after I read the tale and saw the picture I felt just so much better and understood that the one that hold the key to set my self free form the grief it's me, I wont let the evil wolve take over me.

Sorry for the long post, and than you againe for this inspiration
